Moo Farm Fitness ("we," "our," or "the App") is developed and operated by Zane Benton, an individual developer. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Moo Farm Fitness iOS application and related services.

By using Moo Farm Fitness, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Name
Email address
Handle (username)
Password (stored securely using cryptographic hashing)
Apple ID identifier (if you sign in with Apple)

Fitness & Health Information

To personalize your experience, you may provide:

Age, height, and weight
Fitness level and experience
Fitness goals (e.g., lose weight, build muscle, improve mobility)
Physical limitations or injuries
Dietary preferences
Workout environment and available equipment
Preferred session duration and training days

Activity & Workout Data

When you use the App, we collect:

Workout history, completion status, and exercise performance
Run, walk, and cycle tracking data (distance, duration, route)
Health metrics such as weight entries, calories, and activity summaries
Gamification data (XP, level, badges, streaks, leaderboard rankings)

Photos, Videos & AI Interactions

If you choose to use our AI form analysis features, you may submit:

Photos or videos of exercises for AI-powered form feedback
Live camera feed for real-time form analysis
Text conversations with the Moo AI Coach
Images shared in AI chat conversations

Important: Zane Benton (the developer) does not personally view, review, or access your photos, videos, or AI chat conversations. This content is processed solely by automated AI systems to provide you with fitness coaching and form analysis.

Apple Health Data

With your permission, the App may read and write data to Apple Health, including:

Active energy burned, exercise time, and stand time
Step count and walking/running distance
Heart rate and body mass
Sleep analysis
Workout records

Apple Health data is accessed only on your device with your explicit authorization and is governed by Apple's privacy policies. We do not transmit your Apple Health data to our servers.

Profile Images

You may upload a profile picture, which is stored securely on our servers.

Location Data

If you use run or activity tracking features, the App may access your location to track routes and provide weather information. Location data is used only while the feature is active and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide personalized workouts — AI generates workouts based on your body, goals, limitations, and preferences
Deliver AI coaching — Power the Moo AI Coach to answer fitness questions, analyze exercise form, and create training programs
Track your progress — Display workout history, health metrics, activity tracking, and gamification stats
Manage your account — Authenticate your identity, process password resets, and send email verification codes
Process payments — Handle premium subscriptions and merchandise purchases
Operate leaderboards — Display anonymized or handle-based rankings
Improve the App — Understand usage patterns to fix bugs and improve features

3. Third-Party Services

Moo Farm Fitness uses the following third-party services to operate:

Infrastructure & Hosting

Cloudflare (Workers, D1, KV, R2) — Our backend infrastructure, database, session management, and file storage are hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Artificial Intelligence

Anthropic (Claude) — Powers the Moo AI Coach for fitness conversations and form analysis. Your chat messages and submitted images are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic Privacy Policy
Cloudflare Workers AI — Used as a fallback AI model for certain features

Payments

Apple StoreKit — Processes premium subscription purchases through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple. Apple Privacy Policy
Stripe — Processes merchandise store payments. Payment card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe Privacy Policy

Communications

Resend — Sends transactional emails (verification codes, account notifications). Resend Privacy Policy

Apple Services

Apple Sign In — Provides authentication without sharing your Apple ID password with us
Apple HealthKit — Syncs health and workout data with your explicit permission
Apple WeatherKit — Provides weather data for your location

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are stored using cryptographic hashing and are never stored in plain text.

While we implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data from our servers, including:

Account information and profile data
Workout history and health entries
AI chat conversations and submitted images
Gamification data and leaderboard entries
Profile pictures

Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for service improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data through the App's profile and settings
Update your personal information at any time
Delete your account and all associated data from within the App
Revoke Apple Health access at any time through your device settings
Request information about your data by contacting us

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We share data only with the third-party service providers listed in Section 3, solely for the purpose of operating the App. Your data may be disclosed if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

8. Children's Privacy

Moo Farm Fitness is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
